Episode 228 - Jeffrey Stuffings, Jester King Brewery, is back
Hey Y'all. We're back in Boston for a second week. Still hungover but very excited to welcome Jeffrey Stuffings of Jester King in Texas. As the makers of some of the finer farmhouse ales and Belgian-inspired beers in the United States, we had a lot to talk about with Jeff. From why language is important in classifying the beers he makes (and the efforts being made to get brewers and drinkers to use the right words, to his plan for the farm just outside of Austin.
Hint: it involves wine. Double hint: Augie gets excited. You guessed it: John Holl offers a deep sigh.
For the black glass Jeff goes local and easy on us. His picks offer insight to his region and American beer in general. Tune in and let us know what you think!
